Initilization of the data source failed

Hi,
I have set up a data connection / query to another excel file which is a master list so that when the master list is updated all copies of my other sheet update with the same source data.
Both files are located on the same network which all users have write access to. When I refresh the query / data connection the information updates no bother, presumably as I created the two files.
However, when another user refereshes the query/data connection they get the following error:
“Initilization of the data source failed”
“Check the database server or contact your database administrator. Make sure the external database is available, and then try the operation again. If you see this message again, create a new data source to connect to the database”
Has anyone got any idea how I fix this? As I say the 3 or four people who will be using this file all have permissions to access the folder locations etc
Thanks in advance

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
