Hi all,

I'm reaching out here to see if anyone can help with a project that my employer would like to introduce to the airfield that I work on. We've spoken to our IT department but they are incredibly slow.

We would like to introduce an "Information Screen" that is updatable by a main user (me!) so that when an important piece of information changes / updates I can change the information on a "program" that is running a template screen .

We would like to supply multiple companies on the airfield a screen and pc unit (attached to the screen) that they cannot interact with but the screen will mirror the "information Screen" I update so they get the same information. It will be placed in their crew rooms.

The idea behind it is that if we change our runway direction or ATC frequency etc.... the information is changed by me and then the screens in the crew rooms of the other companies will update to show this new information.

At the moment we send out "update emails" but a lot of the time the email information isn't fed down from the management teams to the airfield workers or the airfield workers don't read paper updates.

I've made a mock version of the screen and attached it. I want it to show full screen with no interfaces showing from the program used to create it.

Can anyone offer advice or recommendations? I understand that this may not be "excel based" but everyone is so helpful on here and I thought someone may be asble to offer some advice / guidance.

i had to do this in the late 90's for a call centre to have realtime info on taxi usage , on there screens
and had a little spreadsheet which feed a database and we used a webpage to bring the data across and refresh -
i suspect a lot of better tools these days
we also setup a couple of PCs and monitors for other call centre info , i did work with IT - BUT had the ear of the COO so things got done

I searched and now with sharepoint and co-authering it should be much easier
heres a result of a search
