Hi All,

Newbie here, so please bear with me. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to create a function in excel to calculate the inflation rates of many different years of data all up to 2020. I need to inflate the costs per year all the way upto 2020. Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.

This should work. Just put the formula in C2 and copy across then down. Note that I assumed the inflation rate for a year (like 2007) acts on the beginning value of appropriate cell (like $700) for its column (lie 2008). If that isn't the way you want it, we can adjust the formula.
