Hopefully I can articulate this well enough...here we go.

I have a table with two columns
Column A Column B
All Props
All A Props
All B Props
Prop 1 A
Prop 2 A
Prop 3 B
Prop 4 A
Prop 5 B

I have a drop down list on a separate tab that lists everything in Column A. By selecting a property from in the drop down list, it updates and sums a table of expenses below it. Works great with I select a specific property, cause it references that property and sumifs based on that value (i.e. prop 1). But when I want to do the "ALL B PROPS" the method no longer works.

Any suggestions? Is there a sumifs function that I could use?

Thanks in advance

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
From what you are saying it looks like if you want to sum “all” then just use SUM. SUMIF is when you have restrictions or criteria to choose from.

If you showed a formula it may shed some more light on things...
