Please help.
I tried to download XL2BB, but message coming cannot download in protected mode. I haven't done any settings, but still that is coming.

I have a few codes and their corresponding prices in the first sheet.
In 2nd sheet I have the codes written (single or as combined).
Now I have to find the price by splitting the code separately.
Then I used index-match to find the price.
I got everythibng correct except for the price against one code (43469).
I am getting the price if i am writing it as a single code.( C14)
But when code is combined and after splitting it , I am not getting the price for that same code (O8).
I gave the same index-match formula in both these columns for extracting the code.
then why price is not diaplayed in O8?
Please please help.

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Hello, the problem might be caused by the fact that once extracted from a larger string, it is formatted as text and not as number as it is on the pr table. Would it work if you e.g. add zero (i.e. formula + 0) to the formula you have in O8 (if it would you would of course need to adjust your formulas so that numbers are identified as numbers and text as text)?

Thankyou so much. I tried adding 0 with the formula in cell O8, but 0 not displayed. So now added a single quote ('43469). Now it is displaying price.

is there some other way, other than adding single quote to convert it to a text
