Need help with the following formula:

=INDEX($U$3:$U$10,MATCH(B3,$T$3:$T$10,0))

When there's not entry in U3 it returns an error (#N/A). Is there a way to fix this?

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
=INDEX($U$3:$U$10,MATCH(B3,$T$3:$T$10,0)) would only return a #N/A error if B3 does not match a value in T3:T10 or if the returned value from U3:U10 is #N/A itself. It would not return a #N/A error because U3 is blank.

That said, consider wrapping your formula with the ISNA function, as in something like this:

Code:
=IFNA(INDEX($U$3:$U$10,MATCH(B3,$T$3:$T$10,0)),"")

Hi
I’m making the assumption you mean B3 is empty (not U3)

You can wrap your formula in IFERROR( --------- ,0)

Code:
 =IFERROR(INDEX($U$3:$U$10,MATCH(B3,$T$3:$T$10,0)),"")

or

Code:
 =IFERROR(INDEX($U$3:$U$10,MATCH(B3,$T$3:$T$10,0)),"B3 is Blank")
