I have created a pivot table from an SAP download. I would like to use the table as a template for a number of different reports, to do this I will simply need to change the Page fieled value on each new report.
To ensure that Forecast data can be mannually added along side the actual data in the Pivot table, each table must have the same number of rows, each of which should be labeled Identically, regardless of whether there is data in it or not. So far so good.....
However, when I switch the Field Setting for the first Row field (account Type) to 'Outline View' and select 'display subtotals at top of group' I get a problem.
I get a new total row appear at the top of each new Account Type grouping, except where the values for the 2nd Row Field (account Name) values sum to zero. When this happens a new Total Row appears at the bottom of the new Account Type grouping and the Total at the top displays blank cells.
In essence Totals at the top of each section are returning blank cells, and Totals at the bottom of each section are appearing (thus creating an additional row) when the second Rows field contains zero values.
