Incomplete Pasting/Corrupt File? Excel 2010

Hello everyone,

I have an issue in excel 2010 where it will not fully paste the information I'm trying to copy/paste. Sometimes less than half the data is transferred over, as if it doesn't recognize the other pieces of data. (I'm copy/pasting in between workbooks, sheets, and directly from the internet)

I'm curious if the file is corrupting, or if I'm just neglecting something vital for the information to be transferred successfully? I've started over on this project about three times due to these errors, in addition to other oddities. Such as, at one point excel seemed to think that 0 > 1.

I did an if statement of =IF(A2>B2, "TRUE", "FALSE") where A2 = 0, B2 = 1. For some reason, in certain cells it would tell me 0 was greater than 1... Hense why I believe it to be corrupted.

If you know of a solution, or even a reason why my files would do this, please let me know!

Welcome to MrExcel.

Your formula will return TRUE if the zero is text rather than a number.

Can you give an example of data that doesn't paste completely?
