In Excel 2013 the user can save a web query as a file. But there's no option there to open an already saved query file.
This article describes how to edit the resulting .iqy file to make it dynamic (but to open the .iqy file it says "go to Data>>Import External Data>>Import Data", which does not exist in Excel 2013). This is really what I want to do!
