In a selection of cells, how to return a MsgBox if there is any cell called "x"?

Title says it all, I have a hard time finding out how in a selection of many cells I can search of there exists at least once a cell with the name "x"

If you mean contains "X" then in it's simplest form, provided that the selection is contiguous, try....

Sub Testx()
 
If Application.WorksheetFunction.CountIf(Selection, "x") > 0 Then MsgBox "You have at least one x"


End Sub
