in a report, summing a box

hi

i have a report and a subtotal box that has a fiddly formula in it

on the higher grouping level, how do i add up my boxes?

it's called 'SchemeBonus' so i tried =sum([SchemeBonus]) but it doesn't work

try using the same formula that you have for [SchemeBonus] in the total box and wrap it up in the sum() function exactly as you have already tried.

yeah that's what i usually do, but the formula is a bit of a nightmare, as it references a higher grouped level box...

i re-wrote the query and report and it works now...

ta anyways
