Hi, I've been trying to make a list in excel that looks somewhat like this.

Week 1......Week 2.....
Week 2......Week 3....
Week 3....Week 4....
SkipWeek 1
Week 4.....
Week 1.....
Skip

But I've run amuck every single time. It's hard because i'm trying to count in strings, have a recurring sequence, and want to be able to delete any "Week" and have the list update accordingly.
I prefer not to add another row which does al the counting and then just add a string. So if anyone knows a solution I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance!

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.

You are not explaining what data you have, what the rules are, and what is the result you want.

I'm going to assume that the data is from column A and you want the result from column C.

Try the following formula in cell C1:
Excel Formula:
=LET(a,A1:A7,INDEX(a,SORT(BYROW(UNIQUE(FILTER(a,B1:B7<>"")),LAMBDA(br,MAX((a=br)*(FILA(a))))))))

Let me know the result and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
