Importing Text File with Macro

Hi, I've set up a 'point and shoot' macro to import a comma delimited text file with a couple of date fields.

When I recorded the macro I changed the format of the columns with dates in to dd/mm/yyyy and everything looked fine.

On running the macro some of the cells are changed to dd/mm/yyyy and others look like dd/mm/yyyy 00:00:00 but aren't recognised as dates. Bizarre.

I'd be grateful for any help!

Excel always does its best to convert dates to the American mm/dd/yy.
"It Is A Feature, Not A Bug" (for Americans anyway).

I import dates as text and convert afterwards. This at least keeps them consistent in format.
