Hi,

I have recently created a very big project in MS Project 2007 and am trying to figure out the best way to share it with all the team involved. (Most people do not have MS Project on their computers)
Importing it into Powerpoint 2007 and having it as a presentation seems like a good way to go but I do not know how to transfer it smoothly? Can anyone help? Also, any suggestions on sharing my Gantt with the team would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Although I have no experience with this, a friend of mine once told me that Adobe Acrobat was a good means to distribute Project files to others who lack the Project software. Just thought I'd offer an idea for you to test and consider.

Thanks larry,

That works quite well. Hadn't thought of it!

Still need to be able to show my gantt in powerpoint for presentations. Does anyone know how to do this?

You'll probably need to adjust your scaling in Project.

View>Zoom>Entire Project. Check to see what date the GANTT labels extends to; you will need this for the next step
Select all tasks that you want to appear in the screenshot
Use the Camera icon (extreme right of toolbar) to take a screenshot.
In the option pick Screen as the display (if you pick Image it will generate a gif or jpg)
In the date range enter a range covering from the start of the project to the end of the labels (see above)
Pick Selected Tasks
Click OK

I usually switch to Word and dump it there; you can also paste into PowerPoint.

Another option: If you have Visio there is a wizard that lets you pull in the Project data. You can then format eth GANTT in Visio, and use that for your presentations. Quite snazzy but it's an extra step in the process.
