Hi
Iam using Access 10 and would like to have the user select an excel spreadsheet from a specific path

I have tried DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acImport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel12, _
"Employees", "\\myDrive\Home\ourfiles\", True, "A1:A1000"

keep getting MS database engine cannot open or write to the file \\myDrive\Home\ourfiles\

The file to be imported will change each time so I wanted the user to be able to select the file each time.

Thanks
L

Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
