Hi All,

I got situation where I have import column from Excel to Access.

But there are some Challenges in Excel File which are.

1) column does start from First row and total I have 42 columns, It starts from 20.

2) I want to import only 5 column.

3) between 42 column there are some columns are Blank has not Field Name.

So I just need advice what is the better solution in this scenario.

Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks,
Mukesh Y

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Try naming the range you want to import in Excel.
Then, when importing, you have the option of importing by named range. So you can then import just the information you want.

I have around 130 files with same structure and format I have mentioned below.

I would put them in a single folder, and then create an Excel macro to loop through all the files and copy and paste the needed data to a single file, and then import that file.
