Happy new year guys!

I currently have an index (no duplicates) control placed for a field in an access table. The information in the table is imported from Microsoft Excel. My problem is if I need to create new spreadsheets in excel and then import that new information back to the access database is there a way to only import the new data and not the duplicates.

Any help would be appreciated!

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
If you have a primary key or unique field, then importing records that already exist should error out, and only the new ones will be imported.

Otherwise, you could import the data to a temporary table, do an unmatched query between the temp table and final table, and then change that query to an Append Query, so you are only adding the new records.
