Hi everyone, I have been recently asked if it is possible to import messages from WhatsApp to excel in real-time.

This person runs a catering business and receives orders via WhatsApp but as you can guess there is no specific format in which his customers send the order messages and his order management system is at present a whirlwind, very prone to errors like customers being sent the wrong dish or the amount delivered not matching the customers' requirements.

He would like to be able to

1) import the messages into excel
2) Sort and filter the orders into categories based on item type, size, number and price.
3) Be able to issue order receipts
and a few other procedures.

The first requirement has me stumped... Is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Could you not use MS Forms to do this? It seems like it would solve quite a few of the problems you've listed above and I can't imagine it would take long to make the form. The key benefit would be is that it automatically creates and updates an Excel spreadsheet of the form data for you.

Is it not possible to via.
Vba and selenium.
Ie look up the number and search in what's app from a spreadsheet column.

Then, paste the chat for the corresponding number back into the spreadsheet.

Let me know if anything has done anything like this.
