Hello,

I have 2 sheets: sheet 1 & sheet2.

On Sheet 1 I want to reference the value from sheet2 (A2 - only).

On Sheet2 I take the data from an address (Data -> From Web, import) and It gives a number. That number I want to be on Sheet1 - A1 (for example).

When I reference: "=Sum(Sheet2!A2)" it gives me "0" (zero).

How to I import it correctly in sheet1?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
why you got the sum? u can just do =Sheet2!A2
just type = and click on the cell in sheet2.

Thank you :) It worked now :)

Two more question if possible:

The data from A2 (Sheet2) is formated like this: 510231.8 km, and i want to format it 510.231 km.

The issue is that is not allowing me to format it (either from Sheet2 nor Sheet1).

2) In sheet1, when I get the values from =Sheet2!A2 => 510231.8, and I try to make "minus" with some other cell from sheet1, it gives me #value .

I tried =sum(H13-F13) [meaning: 510231.8 - 220.000] and it gives me error.

Thank you :)

Question one should be conditional formatting, you should use under the other tab this one: #,##0

For question 2
you only use the sum formula if you want to go +. just do cell - cell or number - number dont use sum formula.

for question2: I tried H13-F13 and it gives me "#value"
for question1: I applied both to sheet2 and sheet1 the conditional formatting and can't seem to be able to format that style.
