Import RTF into Access 97

I have a folder with 2000+ small .rtf files in it. I am trying to import the the name of each file into the ID field and the contents of each file into the Data field in a table in Access 97. I tried using the Open Word function and a copy/paste but it takes a very long time.

Any help would be appreciated.
