Hello,
I know there are other postings regarding this subject, but I am just unable to make this work. I'm not sure if I'm just missing how to get the request started or ???.
I am trying to import multiple workbooks into Access. I can put all the workbooks into one file if that is the best. Would I do this as a Macro? If so, I'm not sure how to do this for multiple workbooks. Or, would VBA be the best? When I have tried this method, it doesn't seem to work.
I am using Access 2010. The excel files all have the same file layout. I just cannot get it to pull more than one workbook. I have retried doing this about 10 times to the point I don't even know where I'm at. I put the workbooks (all are saved under different names, i.e. johnsmith.xlsx, maryjones.xlsx in one file named Importfile but am beyond stuck.
If anyone has any ideas on why I'm getting so hung up on this, I would appreciate your assistance.
