I am importing 400 text files into one sheet using power query. Each text file has about 10 to 15 rows. I need to add the file name (path) to a new column so I can filter the new workbook. I have tried some solutions but am getting an error. Any help would be appreciated. This is the article I am using. I do not understand the convert query to function part.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
You can actually do this without using an explicit function.

Start with step 3 and fill in this into step 4 instead:

Table.PromoteHeaders(Csv.Document([Content],[Delimiter=";",Encoding=1252]))

You might need to adjust the delimiter and encoding to you local settings.
