HI,

Question 1)

When I imported a TEXT file, I have created 'specification' and saved it. So whenever I want to import the same TEXT file, I use it. Now I have all the specification in DATABASE A. But I would like to import all the specifications to DATABASE 2. How do I do it ?

Question 2) I want to create a NEW 'specification' using the 'existing Table' structure ? Is it possible ?

pls. help.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
1) From Database 2, select File>Get External Data>Import ...
From the File dialog select and open Database 1
From the Import Objext box select "Options"
there is a tick box there to let you import "Import/Export Specs"

2) If you use the file import wizard you can use Advanced>Specs.. to load your existing spec's then modify them and save with a new name using Save As
