Dear All,

i am importing data from excel file to access table using below code
DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acImport, acSpreadsheetTypeExcel8, "Table1", "C:\myTemp\AccessUpload.xls", True

now i want to save system date and time with each imported record.

i checked table properties there is an attribute modified when ever i imported it is showing last modified.

how can i update same modified information with each imported record.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Create a duplicate copy of the table structure and add the date and time field, then create an append query and add the date time field into the query and then run the query this can also be done through VBA or a macro, then empty the first table.

Add the date and time in the excel table before you upload it.
