Hi all,

Looking for help with a bunch of calculated fields in an existing pivot (file 1). I have to re-create the pivot in a new file (file 2) and I need the same calculated fields as in file 1. Under 'List Formulas' I can see all the formulas and CF, but is there a possibility to 'import/transfer' those existing calculated fields from file 1 to file 2 rather than build everything from scratch? Using Excel 2013 on Windows.

Thanks in advance!

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
I do not know of a way to export and import the calculated fields but if you go back into calculated fields you can bring the formula back up by clicking on the down arrow in Name. You could then copy the formula and paste it in your new calculated field.

I am assuming the two sheets have similar data...
Have you tried copying the range that contains the Pivot Table and then redirecting the Data Source to the correct File 2 Table/Range?
