Im trying to create a data base w/info alreay in excel

I have a real time working excel work sheet and i want to import only pieces of that sheet into acess when ever they are entered...can anyone help..??!!

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
You could link the Excel spreadsheet directly to Access, then any changes in the spreadsheet will be seen by Access immediately. Just make sure that the column headings are on Row 1 of the spreadsheet.

To link to Excel, File | Get External Data | Link
Navigate to the workbook, double-click, and you should be ready to go.

Note: Linked tables can be slow in Access, but they work fine. You can also write changes back to the tables if required.
