Hi all,

Hope I'm in the right place. I am working on a standard set of files for my colleagues - with the aim being we can pull all the data into one place.

I can use Get Data and transform the data into a single file.

However each individual file has 6 rows of data (headings and other various info) - I basically want the query to pull the data in from each file from Row 7

Is that possible?

Thanks
M

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
first I need to know:
- all files have the same structure and type of data?
- how files are loaded: From Folder or each file individually?

Hi Sandy - all the files are exactly the same layout (all the data I need to combine is from Row 7 down), I am pulling them together from a folder.

after combine and edit
on the left side you will see
rep.png

so select green marked step and on the right side add step
remtop.png

which is just : Table.Skip(#"Promoted Headers",6)
it will skip 6 top rows from each file
