I’m not sure how to ask this question, but it is about Spotify

I’m trying to think how to explain myself in basic terms that I can understand and that anyone who reads this can;

I asked a similar question recently but was unable to make progress and so did some further research into what the best solution was to my need.

My desire is to be able to use Microsoft Excel with Spotify.

The function I want to perform is to use a spreadsheet to search data from Spotify.

I have seen what I believe is a way that can achieve this which is found here Spotify Connector. It is unfortunately a paid subscription service and is not the route I want to go down right now.

However, it seems that there is a way to search keywords within Microsoft Excel that will return a result from Spotify.

What I want to be able to do is search for an artist’s name, and the result returned from Spotify will show their most recent releases and the date of release (which the Spotify API displays). In time, I may want to explore other features, but for now that is it.

What really is my best option here?

Many thanks
Andrew
