Hi Guys.

I am in major trouble.

This morning one of the files I made seems to be broken.

When I load the file (xlsm) with or without macros enabled, All the tabs are missing and the whole ribbon is greyed out.
When I go to the VBA editor, I can see the worksheets, the modules and all.
Naturally I tried to right click on the worksheet, and select view Object but it is greyed out.
When I try to enter a Sheet1.visible = true the vba editor throws an object missing error.

What to do?

PS: I was messing with a before close event last night on the same file as a Powerpoint presentation will be linked to the workbook which will require to leave a specific worksheet active on close (So the powerpoint link pulls in the given page with the data)

I couldn't post a picture here, but I uploaded one to here: https://imgur.com/a/Hv6RuWJ

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
Some more info. I am probing the workbook in the immediate window, with ?Activeworkbook.name, ?Activewindow.visible and both throws an object error.

Hi Steve.
Tried that already.

Unfortunately nothing helped.
I had to get IT to grab me a saved copy of the file before it got damaged.

Thanks very much for the help though!
