Hi,

Where would I place the IFERROR function in the following formula to produce a blank cell please? The formula produces ## until data is entered. Looks messy.

=IF($B5="","",XLOOKUP($B5,Master!$B$4:$B$72,Master!$E$4:$E$72))+IF($C$2<=W5,-1)

many thanks.

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Usually just at the beginning, unless you want to allow some kinds of errors to show up:

Excel Formula:
=IFERROR(IF($B5="","",XLOOKUP($B5,Master!$B$4:$B$72,Master!$E$4:$E$72))+IF($C$2<=W5,-1), "")
