Hi, how would I indicate if a date is on or after 7/16/2009 to indicate Tier 2 otherwise Tier 1?

Thanks kindly!

Excel Facts

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Is 7/16/2009 in a cell? If so, for example 7/16/2009 is in B1

=IF(A1>=B1,Tier2,Tier1)

This formula evaluates to TRUE or FALSE assuming your date of interest is in cell A1 and you want to use Conditional Formatting

Code:
=A1>DATEVALUE("16-Jul-2009")

You can modify it to be:
Code:
=IF(A1>DATEVALUE("16-Jul-2009"),"Tier 2","Tier1")
