I am trying to get a formula to: if d13 is = to "no" then e13=c13, if = to "yes" then e13=0
I typed { =If(d13=no,c13,0) } in cell e13, but the d13=no is not computing.
Basically c column is an amount, D column is a paid column(yes or no), E column i want to be the adjusted value. So if its not paid, then i still owe that amount in column E, amount which is in column c.

=IF(D13="No",C13,IF(D13="Yes",0,""))

Thank you, so i had to put it in quotes. Thats what i was doing wrong.

If it's only yes or no, Couldn't you also use

=IF(D13="No",C13,0)

Yes, text must be quoted but numbers do not.

=IF(A1=10,C1,IF(A1=100,D1,"NA"))
