I need to run a formula similar to this:

=IF(C58<0.06, "2")

My issue is, it's reading the "2" as text. I need it to be a number than can be added to other numbers. I can't find the correct formula.

What do I need to do differently?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Don't put quotes around the 2. What happens if C58>=0.06 ?

Rich (BB code):
=IF(C58<0.06, 2, ???)

It's a point system. If the overall score is less than .06, we get 2 points. If it's more than .06, we get 0 points.

Then, try this:

Rich (BB code):
=IF(C58<0.06, 2, 0)

Unless you mean <= which requires a change in the code.
