Hello all.

I needs some guidance.

I'm trying to create a formula that will look at a range of data and based on the words "closed" and "open" it will perform a cut paste to another tab.

Example:

A1 B1 C1 D1 E1
Joe Dirt Dodge Charger Hemi Open Ricky Bobby
Joe Dirt Dodge Charger Hemi Open Ricky Bobby
Joe Dirt Dodge Charger Hemi Open Ricky Bobby
Joe Dirt Dodge Charger Hemi Closed Ricky Bobby

What I need is for the formula to see that D1 now has a status of "Closed" and to find all of the Joe Dirt's on the spreadsheet and do a cut-paste to another tab in the workbook.

I've never done one like this.

thanks!

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
