i need a formula to assign a person to an assignment depending on the first letter of the customer's last name

Ticket # Customer Name Employee Assignment
123 Doe, Jon
124 Smith, Robert

Above is a simple version, but employee "Bob" will take assignments where Customer Last names begin with A-L while Allison will take assignments where the Customer Last name begins with M-Z

Any help is appreciated.

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
maybe something like...

=IF(OR(LEFT(B2,1)={"A","B","C","D","E","F","G","H","I","J","K","L"}),"BoB","Allison")
