if row is blank, delete row

hi all,
i need a vb script that progresses down thousands of rows in excel and deletes the row if there is nothing in the A column

can anyone help!?

Try this assuming the blanks are Truely blank/empty. Not formulas returning ""

Range("A:A").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).EntireRow.Delete
