Hi,

I'm wanting to format cells in worksheet 1 to insert a hyperlink in a cell if a cell in worksheet 2 is not blank.

I also want to color the cell at the same time if the cell in worksheet 2 is not blank.

where do I start with this formula?

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Conditional formatting can change the format of a cell if a certain condition or conditions is/are met, but it cannot insert hyperlinks.

This CF formula can change the format of a cell or cells in say, Sheet1, if say cell A1 in sheet2 is not blank:

= Sheet2!A1 < > ""
