I'm new to Power BI and looking for a bit of help. I've got 2 date fields and want to create a column from these.

If the [Start Date] is NOT blank AND the [End Date] IS blank then return "Yes", else return "No".

I've been googling like mad for 2 days, but no joy - so any help greatly appreciated for a rookie!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Welcome to the forum. :)

Are you trying to do this in power query or as a calculated column using DAX?

Then it would be:

Excel Formula:
=if(and(NOT(ISBLANK(Table1[Start Date])),ISBLANK(Table1[End Date])),"Yes","No")

amending the table name as needed.
