Hello,

If the last character in a string is equal to "M" I would like to return "Men's" and if the last charcter is "W" I would like to return "Women's" - what formula would work?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Let's say the value is in cell A1. Then one way would be:
Excel Formula:
=IF(RIGHT(A1,1)="M","Men's",IF(RIGHT(A1,1)="W","Women's",""))
