Having a brain cramp....

In Cell A3, I have a formula that is based on A1 and A2

Cell A4 should display 0 if A3 is greater than 0, but should show the absolute value of (A3 x5) IF A3 is negative

Tried a few things, but I am stuck.....much thanks in advance for the help. In the meantime, i will try another cup of coffee

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
One way:
Code:
=IF(A3>0,0,ABS(A3*5))

Alt suggestion:
Code:
=ABS(--(A3<0)*A3)*5

What happens if A3 is exactly zero?
