Hi there,

Using the IF function, I'm simply looking to return the contents of a cell only if it has text in it.

I thought the Logical test might be; IF A1 = " "

This is clearly wrong. Can anyone assist please?

Also, if the cell is blank (False)then it currently returns a 'zero'. I would like it to leave the cell blank.

Regards

Ben

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
How about
=IF(ISTEXT(A1),A1,"")
