Hi,

I have the following formula which doesn't seem to bring anything back, can anyone help?

=IF($G3="*******",IF(SUM($X3+Z$2)>$V3,Pivot!$C$6/$V3,IF($G3="Heating",IF(SUM($X3+Z$2)>$V3,Pivot!$C$6/$V3,IF($G3="Roof",IF(SUM($X3+Z$2)>$V3,Pivot!$C$6/$V3,IF($G3="Window",IF(SUM($X3+Z$2)>$V3,Pivot!$C$6/$V3,IF($G3="WStrucutre",IF(SUM($X3+Z$2)>$V3,Pivot!$C$6/$V3,IF($G3="BATHROOM",IF(SUM($X3+Z$2)>$V3,Pivot!$C$6/$V3))))),0)))))))

Hello Phil,

I think your formula needs a rewrite!

After the first IF almost everything else is in the "Do this if TRUE" part, so it doesn't make sense to have IF($G3="Heating".....That can't be TRUE at this point because we have already established that $G3="*******".

What should happen if $G3="*******"? Are you using the asterisks as wildcards or is that the actual value?
