Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Format the cell with the custom number format 10000000000

if i do past special it will take only the no what i entered like 4785456 but its only display like 10004785456

No I didn't mean that, I meant that the custom number format of the cell should include the extra leading 1.

I'm not sure what the OP wants.

The user types 1234

Does the OP want the cell to show 1000001234 and contain the value 1234

or does the OP want the cell to contain the value 1000001234?

On reflection, I too am unsure now what the OP wants.

I have tried copy & paste and it works fine.
Just try copy & paste and NOT copy & paste special and see if you still have the same problem.
