If cell A2 is a number bring back value in cell d2

Hi all,

Im probably missing something really simple here, but cant see the wood for the trees.

I have a spreadsheet with 2 tabs and if in the 2nd tab i want to pull together a delivery note with the data from tab 1.

What im looking for is, if cell S6 has a number in it, i want to pull back the data from cell B6.

the numbers will be different for each row so cant set as a constant.

Do you mean if S6 has any number, then return B6? Or, do you want to match the number in S6 to data then bring back a value from column B?

=if(isnumber(S6),tab1!B6,"")
