Hi Guys,

i need help with my table shown.
The idea is if i type a dollar $ number in cell A3 that number will then be taken and multiplied by cell C2 (30%) and the value returned from that sum will be shown in cell C3. i also at the same time need the status column (in cell E3) to show the sum of the difference of those 2 figures (A3 - C3). In addition to this, if the first dollar $ number typed is actually in cell B3 (instead of A3 and nothing is entered into A3) i need the number entered into be multiplied by cell D2 (70%) and the value returned from that sum will be shown in cell D3 and at the same time i need the the status column (in cell E3) to show that same value displayed in cell D3 (transpose it over).

Running total will just be the pool money at the start (Cell F1 + cell E3 (status) and displayed in cell f3 and continue down the page.

thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hi,

This does what your described, but assumes that A and B can Not have a value on the Same row.
All formulas will show Blank when there's No value in either A or B.
