Hi!

What is the most efficient way to compare two cell values and return a TRUE value when the values are within a given range. 05% as an example.

Here's one way...

=IF(MIN(A1:B1)/MAX(A1:B1)>=0.95,"TRUE","FALSE")

This assumes your cells are next to one another.

BTW, was it supposed to be .05% or 5%?

How about:

=ABS(A1-B1)<=0.0005

Try with 10000 and 10001

How about creating a lookup table and using VLOOKUP with match_type set to 1 or TRUE.
