Hi All, Been searching the forum and trying to use various posts to compare 2 workbooks in excel, both same format and same line / rows .
is there a macro in the forum that can ask you to select your first file, then second and then compare and highlight the changes on the latest file or in another sheet ?

Alot to ask but help is very much appreciated

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
let us say sheet1 A1 = 999 and sheet2 A1=888

you want to know if they are different

in sheet1 A1 apply conditional formatting

formula = =sheet1!A1<>Sheet2!A1 and choose red pattern

the 999 now turns red
