Identifying Data Points Above a Slope in a Magic Square

I'm looking for a formula that will allow me to label the quadrant of a magic square (eg "Q1", "Q2", etc...) using the median of Y as the vertical axis and a linear trend line as the "horizontal" axis. So, I would need to be able to pinpoint which data points fall to the right of the Y value and above the slope.

So, I have columns X and Y that determine the position on the chart of each data point with a vertical line that represents the Y values median and a linear trend line through the data. The ultimate goal is to create four quadrants with an equal number of data points in each quadrant, not equally sized quadrants.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and forgive me if I've not provided enough info.
