Identify common words/values within the same column

I have a list of 1300 line items and I want excel to identify or color code the matching values within the column. For example:

ABC RIVER RECEIPT METER STATION

ABC RIVER WEST RECEIPT METER STATION

I want excel to tell me these cells share a common name/phrase. As you can see theres a slight variance with "west" in the second name, values like this are frequent throughout all my data. Manually color coding these will make me cross eyed!

You can probably conditional format based on a string of characters. That might be the best. If not, i think VBA would need to be used to color it.
