Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
You can set the margin in Excel itself under Page Layout. If you set this on your sheet, it should carry over to the pdf export.

If you do still want to control it with VBA, you can try adding something like this:

VBA Code:
With ActiveSheet.PageSetup
      .LeftMargin = Application.CentimetersToPoints(0.5)
    .RightMargin =Application.CentimetersToPoints(0.5)
    .TopMargin = Application.CentimetersToPoints(0.5)
    .BottomMargin = Application.CentimetersToPoints(0.5)
    .Orientation = xlPortrait 'xlLandscape
    .FitToPagesWide = 1
    .FitToPagesTall = 1
End With
